Presentation

My music being only instrumental, I needed something to make it more exciting. That's why, I try as long as possible, to talk about a story, pictures.. It is in fact progressive rock (in fact I hope so).

There are a few time, I had named my music "Brain Music". What for? Simply because every time that I was talking about the kind of music that I write, as only few people known the progressive Rock (young people), I had to explain what it is. So I had idea to name that Brain Music that seems more vivid.

This music should therefore allow you to get away mentally to the sandstone of your imagination. The title as well as a few words will put you on the path but your imagination will have to do the rest. 

This apparent also to movie music. I have also made a small animation movie for which I composed the music. Its title: the end of time (this track is from my first CD). Don't get it in trade, it  is a very (too) personal broadcast. You can also find it in the video section of the videos posted on Youtube

As I said above, it was exclusively instrumental songs with sound effects and voices taken here and there, present to image the theme. BUT in the 9th CD I started to include songs because finaly, it is more evident to tell a story by words than only by music et sounds. Sometime I will be the singer and sometime Charles, a friend, will sing. But at the moment it is too early to ear that.... Be patient.

Concerning my musical inspiration, you have guessed, it comes from the progressive Rock groups such as Pink Floyd, Yes, Genesis, Alan Parson Project, Marillion, Vangelis and most recent ones as Arena, IQ, Prendragon, Dream Theater, Ayreon .
